The Jones SWB Frameset is the evolution of the original Jones, the Jones 29. The Jones 29 has been a truly groundbreaking bike since its introduction back in 2009, which speaks to its enduring design.
Jeff tweaked that proven Jones 29 geometry to allow for clearance of 27.5” x 3" tires front and rear. The front and rear centers both gained 11 mm in length, and the headtube angle is 1 degree slacker at 69°. This 22 mm total difference in wheelbase has the effect of making the bike just a little bit smoother and more stable at high speeds without compromising the nimble handling that is one of the hallmarks of the Jones 29.
We bought this bike form a customer of ours, he literally rode it three times and it looks like it is brand new. We're going to call it a 9/10 on case you find a scratch on it. We also gave it our $149 tune up (not that it needed it). If you look at the tire photo you can see it still has all of the molding nubs on the tires.
